Education: Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, Grand Canyon University

From an early age, Joshua Easley was shaped by a deep sense of leadership and commitment to service. With a passion for engineering and a desire to bridge the gap for underrepresented communities in STEM fields, Joshua has dedicated himself to illuminating opportunities and providing support for those who may face barriers of entry to their dream career paths. He embodies the values of hard work, integrity, and service to others, and consistently strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those around him. His presence enriches any community or organization fortunate enough to have him.

Coming from an underserved background, Joshua understands that when it comes to guiding young minds towards success, mentoring is critical. For the past three years as a youth and young adults pastor, he’s organized transformative experiences such as summer camps and retreats, and in the process he’s ensured that financial limitations are never a barrier for those seeking spiritual growth and community connection.

Applying these same skills to a professional setting, Joshua actively engages in mentorships that offer guidance and support to young men in his community. He also  speaks at multiple high school career days in underserved communities, providing real-world experiences and exposure to the field of engineering to the kids who need to hear it most. His talks cover a range of topics including academics, equity  and inclusion, and the changes needed in the STEM field to ensure accessibility and representation for all.

Through all these engagements, Joshua continues to advocate for positive change. In the process, he continually inspires colleagues and students to pursue their passions fearlessly.  He has a solid technical proficiency in electrical engineering, coupled with an unwavering commitment and fervent dedication to community service and STEM education.

Among Joshua's most impressive qualities is his role as a Raytheon Technologies ambassador to new engineers.  A rare combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills allows him to effectively communicate complex concepts and mentor aspiring engineers. His ability to connect with others and foster a supportive learning environment makes him a stellar example for his peers and mentees alike.
