With both a Bachelors and a masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas - Pan American, Faraón Torres Lazos has leveraged his talents as a brilliant electronic and electrical engineer into extraordinary technical success in a relatively short time at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Mr. Lazos has co-invented systems and methods for additively manufacturing composite parts that resulted in 32 patent applications with 26 US patents already granted. During his time with Boeing, he has been directly responsible for generating and managing projects valued at $55 million.

As a company expert in composite connector technology, electrical bonding and grounding, and with experience in laser processing that allowed him to innovate with photo-resist polymer prototyping, Mr. Lazos’ research has appeared in a number of scientific publications and he has served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Advances in Polymer Technology.

The recipient of many awards and an active volunteer in GMiS MentorNet, he was honored with the Boeing Bold Ingenuity Award for Inspired Vision and Creativity in recognition of his outstanding contribution to product development. He was also recognized with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National STAR Award–Promising Engineer in 2017.
