For over eight years, Mr. Luis A. Rodriguez has served as an outstanding and productive Government Project Lead for the Army’s Prototype Integration Facility where he has simultaneously managed multiple programs spanning seven aviation Project Management Offices and multiple government organizations.
His duties have include executing multi-million dollar contract efforts while managing a team of engineers and assuring the highest quality products, deliverables, data, hardware, software and services.
As a Subject Matter Expert for rotary wing aircraft such as the UH-60 Blackhawk and the CH-47 Chinook helicopters, Mr. Rodriguez coordinates all aspects of business development for the Prototype Integration Facility, including identifying new projects, refining program requirements, writing Scopes of Work, developing budgets and schedules, negotiating funding, and performing technical evaluations.
His wide multi-platform customer base consists of numerous Department of Defense organizations and Project Offices to provide support to our warfighters. He has managed over sixty programs and established an emerging business base of over $100M.
Originally from Bayamon, Puerto Rico where he ran his own construction company before applying for a government engineering position, Mr. Rodriguez earned his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
