Since entering the military as an officer in 2013, Major Martinez has made significant engineering contributions and displayed exemplary leadership in every organization in which he has been a member. For the B-52 electronic warfare flight test program, he led a 15-member engineering team tasked with developing an updated electronic warfare software package. His work resulted in the adoption of new defensive tactics, techniques, and procedures overturning a 26-year standard. After a move to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, his efforts created unique field-level repairs for the A-10 and F-22 aircraft to rapidly return them to functionality while deployed to the Middle East.
He has further impressed everyone with his academic achievements, earning a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering with a 3.7 GPA from the University of Florida. Always the visionary, Major Martinez is now pursuing artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives to automate the analysis of test data for the GPS enterprise.
